Envy is the path you have chosen and Envy is the name you shall suffer. Your mind shall be clear but you will see others fall into madness and will cry for the gods to drive you insane.

Once upon a time there were several friends who entered an old decrepit amusement park. Though they had been warned that it was the god's playing field they only laughed, too absorbed in their own lives to care. Because of this they suffered the Judgment of the gods. Now they haunt the park they were forbidden to enter, trapped in a spiral of madness and agony. Their minds are gone and their bodies have been twisted into the forms of their sins.

--

Envy was always the quiet one. He lived in the shadows, always seen and never there. He did not want to enter the park, but did so anyway because he couldn't bear to be left behind.

The gods punished him harshly. Though each and every one of his friends suffered madness and became oblivious to their pain. Envy however, kept his mind and lost his face. He cannot smell and can barely hear, however he can see through every mask on his body. This is because the masks are actually the faces of his victims.

When he speaks he speaks through the voices of the dead souls that reside in his masks. Every night they whisper to him, telling him that he should feel guilty for killing them and taking their faces. He wishes he could stop collecting them but every time he sees someone he feels an overpowering onrush of jealousy that leads to murder.

He is by far the most sane of the seven, and yet he is the most dangerous. He fights with intelligence, using his madly gibbering masks and his third arm with cunning and cruelty. He lives in an old decrepit theater, begging anyone who comes by to kill him.

I've been told that Envy is the creepiest of my Seven Deadly Sins Series. He's actually the nicest and most agreeable of the bunch, and was a pretty sweet guy when he was alive. Oh well, that's how the cookie rolls.

No, actually a public scanner that I found somewhere. I won't be able to do it again.

Actually, this fellow really reminds me of a series of doodles I did in high school. I had a few torturer demons, each the ruler of a massive realm designed for the torment of a specific sort of soul. The one this guy really reminds me of is guilt. He was a big, black slug-thing with two huge arms and an infinity of mouths and eyes all over his body. Each spoke with the voices of the current victim's loved ones, victims, and friends, each whispering curses against the sinner he currently toyed with. He also has a single eye on the very front of his body that showed the face of each person's special someone, sneering and mocking the sinful soul. He would wander from pit to pit, tormenting and mocking the fallen, only for when he was done, which sometimes was hours after he began, to drown the soul in its bog, only for them to be dragged agonizingly back to life again and wait for Envy to return to torment them again.

Yeah, I was a creepy bastard then.
